Avast, landlubbers! Our ships be set to full mast and our heading be straight for a treasure o’ pirates activities. ARRR! Tis true, we'll be learnin' 'bout the wonderful world o’ pirating and such.

Tough Boris by Mem Fox is brilliant.  Whatever You Do Don't Go Near That Canoe by Julie Lawson has a wonderful rhyming lilt.  Phoebe Gilman wrote a couple of pirate stories with a twist - Pirate Pearl and Grandma and the Pirates.  I am quite fond of pirates and am looking forward to your pirate activities.  Thanks.
