Must Read- Halloween Theme

This week we doing Halloween related activities, minus the spook. Below are a couple of the popular choices in our house, so far:

Buy on Amazon. The Pumpkin Patch ParableAffilation Link. This is great book that helps illustrate how God’s love can transform us.   This parable has a farmer that plants pumpkins.  Once the pumpkins are ready to harvest, he picks one out. Then the farmer cleans out the messy "goo" to make room for the light to shine from the inside for everyone to see by turning it into a jack-o-lantern. This is a great story to use as an object lesson.  We will be using it during our family night this week, while we carve our pumpkin.

Buy on Amazon.Shake dem Halloween BonesAffilation Link.is another fun story without the spook. This story is about a Halloween dance.  The people at the dance have dressed up as well know fairy tale characters. It is written with a rhythmic pattern. I’m a big fan of books with rhythm! It will definitely have your child shaking their bones. They will also love the bright, bold pictures.
